Victor Reinz® Global Part Number Program
This new engine gasket part numbering sequence is standardized to the gasket application – making it easy to find the right gasket for the job.
New Part Number Format
Current Victor Reinz part number 1634, transitions to 61-10320-00:
- First two digits define Kit type: 61 = Cylinder Head Gasket
- Middle digits designate Kit contents: 10320
- Last two digits designate internal references: Thickness, Material, BOMs, or Supersession
This new part number format delivers several benefits to ease your doing business with Victor Reinz:
- The new nine digit numerical format eases gasket kit selection using a 'smart' part numbering format
- Numerical nomenclature makes it easier to key in orders
- Optimize use of inventory on hand by matching the first 7 numbers, recognizing material interchanges found in the last 2 digits
- Assigns a new part number standard designated exclusively to Victor Reinz gaskets and sealing products
